 You know when you see a photograph of someone you know, but it’s from years before you knew them. It’s like they’re not quite finished—they’re not done yet. Yes, The Doctor’s here. He came when I called just like he always does. But not “my” Doctor. Now my Doctor, I’ve seen whole armies turn and run away. And he’d just swagger off, back to his TARDIS. And open the doors with a snap of his fingers. The Doctor. In the TARDIS. Next stop: Everywhere.

Can I just have a fangirl moment here about David Tennant? I honestly think he is one of the most talented actors today. I think he has proven that he has a huge variety in characters he can play, and he can manipulate your emotions in such a way that it baffles me.

But he is also completely capable of expressing all sorts of emotions through his face alone. No words needed, just pure facial expressions. And here you can see it. You can see his range of emotions, from simply looking up to realizing he’s seeing a beautiful woman to realizing that he kind of loves her, the the love at first sight kind of way. And he does it in a span of 5 seconds, and he does it convincingly. That my dear friends is a damn good actor.
